What is Pasta Salad
Pasta salad or (macaroni salad) as some might call it because of the specific type of pasta to cook the meal. The origin of the dish started in America dated back to the 1930s. This particular salad is a classic side dish that is often served during springtime. The salad rich texture and flavorful ingredients make it a perfect addition to any outdoor gathering or "grill and chill" (BBQ) event. The dish is a great way to add some variety to your meal and is sure to be a hit with everyone.
How to Cook Pasta Salad
It is very simple to cook the meal at home under 15 minutes. You can try it in very different ways, put in different ingredients or dressings, and the best part you can eat it as a cold dish or a full on warm meal. Pasta salad will make you feel like a king and it can comfort you on days that are not going well for you.
Let's begin with our first recipe.
Everyone loves bacon in their meal. Whether in the morning at breakfast or at dinner with a fried rice. So today our recipe starts with a bacon and cheese pasta salad.

Cook the pasta Al dente pasta, but if the pasta is slightly overcook, that is fine. As the pasta will obsurve the dressing better, while eating the dish cold.

- we would pan-fried 4 bacons and chop them into small little piece

- we use 1 egg
- 1 table spoon of mayo
- 2 table spoon of mustard. I prefer to add a small tea-spoon for honey mustard
- You can use some cold peas
- lastly add some cheese
Your first recipe with bacon, cheese is complete. You can eat it cold as a snack. Or warm it later for dinner with your friends or family or even while watching a movie during your down time.
This ladies and gentleman is my favorite pasta salad to cook anytime, any day or my life. It is delicious, so fulfilling, and very simple yet easy to cook.
We use the small pasta we did for the first ingredients.
While the pasta is boiling and cooking, we get out some cherries tomatoes, pesto sauce, cheese, and if you want to add some bacon, green peas, or a bit carrot, or some ingredients to have a crunchy bite go for it. But sometimes 3 easy ingredients is enough to enjoy this meal.
We first cut the cherries tomatoes, get some mozza pearls, and lastly personally we here like to add some almond nuts.
Pasta done cooking and a little overdone that is great. Now get a big bowl, put it your pasta. Put in your pesto sauce (we did not make it from scratch), and mix it up together till the colors are bright green.
Put in your cherries tomatoes, mix it with your mozza pearls, and lastly put it some almond nuts. Salt, pepper and a small amount of chilli powder for some taste.
And done we have pesto pasta salad ready to serve and enjoy. With a slice of bread on the slide and a glass for smoothie is a perfect way to start of brunch and continue your Saturday afternoon with pesto pasta salad dish.
